Our school offers delicious choices daily. You may pre-pay for lunch for any length of time that is convenient for you. Send cash or a check payable to Dolvin Elementary Cafeteria in an envelope with the following information on the envelope: - Child’s Name - Grade - Teacher - Amount of Money Enclosed The envelope should be taken to the cafeteria any morning before 7:40 a.m. Payments can also be made at mypaymentsplus.com. Student lunches are $2.45 per day and include milk. Students may buy extra milk for $0.50. We encourage students to buy lunch in the cafeteria and take advantage of our many selections. If your child does bring a lunch from home, please do not send glass or cans. You must apply funds to the general account if you want your child to purchase snacks using their cafeteria account. Snacks are .50, .75 or $1.00. When you join your child for lunch, please participate in the school lunch program and do not bring a lunch from an outside vendor. We ask that you not attend lunch with your child the first two weeks of school, so that they can establish the routine and make new friendships.
Volunteers: What defines me as a volunteer? A school volunteer is a non-paid person who serves in an auxiliary capacity under the direction and supervision of school personnel. A volunteer is one who performs duties that an employee could perform such as making copies; filing and sorting; escorting students; assisting with lunch duty, media center or front office tasks. Any person who leads or assists students other than their own in programs or tutors a student is considered a volunteer. How do I begin to volunteer? Pease visit http://www.fcsvolunteers.org to start the registration process. When registering, please use your name as it appears on government-issued ID. Complete the mandatory online training and register with the county. Wait for a confirmation email from Fulton County Schools. Allow 48 business hours for your application to be processed. Visit the school with your government-issued ID and begin volunteering. Wear your printed badge while in the school. You can use the same badge to sign out.
